When choosing a date and time for your initial consultation, there are a few factors to keep in mind. The consultant will need anywhere from 2-5+ hours on site. We ask that the client make a point person available throughout the appointment in order to ensure the consultant can receive access to every part of the facility.
Before the appointment, a short survey will be sent to the client in order to gauge areas of concern, etc. We ask that you please fill out and return the survey no later than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Present the facility as one would normally find it on any given day, i.e. lights turned on/off, certain doors locked/unlocked, windows open, cars/commercial vehicles parked, etc.
We will ask for a signature for permission to take any photographs throughout the facility to use in our report. If there are certain areas in which photography is off limits, it must be specified in writing at the onset of the appointment. Client photographs and information from the survey is strictly confidential and will not be shared by ASG without express written consent from the client.
The ASG consultant will tour the facility, taking notes and photographs. Depending on the size of the building and the scope of the project, this could take several hours. Consultants may ask written permission to return in the evening in order to observe the facility in the dark. Generally, this would be strictly for the exterior of the property.
Consultants will be providing insight and recommendations in real time during the initial appointment. Once concluded, the consultant will compile a detailed report complete with final recommendations in the coming days to deliver to the client.
